This is a free service provided by Pawnee County, through OKCountyRecords.com. The goal of using land record alerts is reducing fraudulently-recorded documents that could affect property ownership.
This is a monitoring system available on our land records website, OKCountyRecords.com, that will send you an email if your name or legal description is found on a newly recorded document.
How to use the free monitoring system:
To create a new account, go to OKCountyRecords.com, click “Login”, then click on “sign up for a new account”. Follow the steps provided to create your FREE account. To start monitoring, click the “New Search” button at the top, then select which county you are needing to search in. You can search by name or legal and hit “Search”. Once your search results are there, simply click on the blue word “Monitor” on the left side of the screen. Now, you will receive emails on any newly recorded document for the searches you are monitoring. You will be able to choose how often you want to receive email alerts, and you have the ability to monitor as many searches as you need/want. We suggest searching and monitoring both your name and legal description.
This free service does not constitute a liability on the part of the Pawnee County Clerk or Pawnee County.
If you suspect you are a victim of fraud, contact the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office or your local police department. You may also need to contact an attorney to determine if you need to take legal action to undo the fraudulent recording.
If you have questions about anything you find, we suggest you speak with a title company or attorney.
The documents provided below are for your convenience. The County Clerk office staff cannot provide legal advice or assist in filling out paperwork. If you need legal guidance, please consult an attorney.
